Well this is news for this Message Forum!

Short Version:

This Forum will be MOVING, TWICE!

Once, to my own server, and then later, someday, this forum will be converted to a different forum software.

Long version:

I spent the last 30+ hours working on installing the whole setup on my home pc, and the Lord helped me work out all the kinks and problems with the softwares, like Apache, Mysql, PHP, PHPBB, and SMF....  and the result was that I was able to move this forum's backup file to my home system, and then install it to PHPBB ( this forum software) on my home system, and then, convert it to another forum software called SMF:

So, I guess the next step, would be to move this to my server with this same software, asap, hopefully later this week...  I still have to install PHPBB on my remote server successfully AND import all these messages to it!  So please pray that God helps me.

I wont be posting much, since, the message file is getting huge!  but you can post all you want!

p.s. the SMF converted ALL of the messages, and users and everything cleanly and swiftly, so our last move will be very easy, and will not be for some time, because I would like to learn how to modify this PHPBB forum's graphics and colors, and also the same on SMF before we convert.

but you know, on this short move to the server, keeping this same software, you will be able to upload avatars, and I can add more smileys and stuff..

who knows, we might end up running TWO BOARDS!  afterall, when the witnesses come, we could always have a PRIVATE board with them on SMF and keep this one public with them for the world

Welcome back to all registered users and guests.

In the days and weeks to come, I hope to modify this forum with new color schemes and user enhancements, God willing.

We shall see.

Still, eventually, this forum will also be converted to a totally different software; or if we have a reason to make an additional forum, then this one can stay, and the new one will be on the new software.

The reason for moving from informe.com is that I was not allowed to make modifications on the forum when it was at their site.

p.s. converting the messages is flawless to the new software, so need to be concerned when that time does come.
