Meta Keyword and Description Density Defined

In today’s installment in my ongoing series on the Truth about SEO, I will summarize the benefits that my self hosted WordPress blog has enjoyed from my experimental program in Meta Keyword density and Meta Description density. In addition to higher SERP from my WordPress Plugin hacks to Autometa and Simple Tagging, the use of the services at the Directory of Blog Directories - www.blogskinny.com has created even more Google search engine referrals to my blog.

First, I want to reiterate and emphasize who my SEO adviser has been. The Lord God has indeed been helping me with ideas, hints and direction, for all of my SEO efforts. Please see Part one and the extra links to my discussions on my and the support SMF (Simple Machines) Forum. Not only must I give God credit, because it is possible for human beings to hear His Voice, but also, I must let you know that He is able to reveal the truth about anything, even such a mundane issue as SEO for our websites. In the matter of SEO, getting hints from God is crucial, because, as I have explained in previous postings, the SEO Industry is riddled with falsehoods and intentional misdirections (PsyOps).

If you find yourself saying, “Oh this is stupid, why is she bringing God into this?” then please do a search on carnal+mind on my blog to find out who is saying that in your mind to keep you from learning about how to improve the SEO for your website and connect to people who are interested in the content you are sharing.

To fully understand my SEO strategy with the Meta Keyword and Meta Description elements in the HTML Header, you MUST read parts one to three. The SEO experts have been teaching us the WRONG definition of keyword density. The ultimate key to SEO is letting the search engine robots know, what is on your html PAGE, and how that page RELATES to your entire WEBSITE. Your content is a secondary issue. If anyone in the whole wide world is interested in your content, then you need to let the search engines know what you have, and THEN people will FIND YOU.

Today I want to give you all some excellent advice. Please sign up with blogskinny. I am not mentioning blogskinny to get impression points. Sure, I do get a spike of traffic when my blog is listed on their front page due to impression points. The major benefits, however, that my blog has received from being listed with blogskinny, are the search engine referrals from blogskinny URLS. Look at the following example:

This URL is in the 5th spot in SERP on Google on a search term:

By the way, Priscilla is a prophetess of God. If you webmasters would list your blog with blogskinny, then you will get additional listings in the GOOGLE index with blogskinny’s URL, thereby increasing your CHANCES of getting a higher SERP. I have seen this happen for my blog, many, many times.

Blogskinny also has a unique feature called Autoblog.

Automatic Blog is a feature of www.blogskinny.com that allows registered blog users from www.bigblogmonkey.com to publish RSS / ATOM feed content automatically into their blogs with no human intervention.

I have used Autoblog to create a blog at bigblogmonkey called “Kingdom of God” where I publish, not only my own blog feed, but also the feeds of blogs that I selected based on the quality of their content. I want to impress upon you, right here, do not abuse this feature. In SEO when you are deceitful (cheat) you will not get benefits. When you are “service-minded” then you not only get benefits, but also benefit others. The use of Autoblog fits into the strategy I mentioned regarding building communities, webrings, and social networks. A person who is interested in the Kingdom of God can elect to get this one feed to be fed news on the Kingdom, daily. ( Please see this page from their Religion Category where my blog is listed and its content is shown on the right side with all other content from that category )

I strongly suggest that you add your blog to the Directory of Blog Directories - www.blogskinny.com. Realize that other users at blogskinny might choose YOUR blog to add to their Autoblog. Please see my Kingdom of God blog Click Me.

It may not look fancy, but notice the format. There are excerpts of the posting, and a link to the whole post that sends the user to YOUR blog or the blog of the person you added. Notice please, this function is in line with the strategy I taught about adding good links to your own blog for blogs whose content most closely relates to yours. Again, service is the motivation, as you do NOT need the other blog to link back to yours at all, to build a CONNECTING community in cyberspace. I hope more of you are beginning to understand what I am really saying.

Since posting my other blog entries on Keyword Density I have posted their links to a few comments on other blogs discussing the same issue. I have taken notice of referrals that I am getting from search engines and the Search Engine Result Page (SERP) on which my link is listed. I have now seen some of the effects of adding the Meta Description element to my program. Google is using the terms in my Meta Description as the text below the URL of the search result. Today, a user on my blog did a search on GOOGLE on this term:

My link was the 6th result and looks like this:

Please notice the plus signs. These plus signs are added by my program to the Meta Description element in the HTML HEAD field. The plus signs serve the dual purpose of not only using a word but also creating phrases. GOOGLE seems to have no problem choosing to display my description, nor using my description as a determinant in choosing my link for a result. I am not exaggerating when I say that 90% of the search referrals that I get to my blog are on the first page of the SERP. Rarely do I have to hit the next button to find out where the user on my blog got my link.

You will need to re-read parts one to three to understand why the definition that I gave you for density is the correct understanding, and why an SEO strategy based on Keyword Density, PAGE RELEVANCY, and page relevancy to site density, causes your links to appear higher in SERP. If you have not read the other installments on the Truth about SEO, then you may need to stop here and read them now.

I promised in previous postings to give you concrete examples that my SEO strategy is really working. In this example, you will see how a posting on my blog climbed to a very high ranking in SERP. A ranking higher than other websites who have had links to this search term for a much LONGER time than I have.

A user of my blog did a search on this term:

This term is the brand name of an internet radio show. My site’s URL appeared in the SECOND SPOT in SERP. This high ranking was accomplished within less than a week after I posted the blog entry.

Make a careful study of my description on GOOGLE, compared to other descriptions of URLs on the first page of results. You will notice that my program produces a description that tells the user MORE about what is on my page, than that of the others. Also, my description supplies the user with handy cut and paste search terms! Of course they will likely lead the user right back to my page and other links on my site; all due to the high Keyword Density used on my site. By the way, if you want to hear what my voice sounds like over the radio, then that is a 9 minute clip of me explaining all about the carnal-mind problem with which all human beings have to contend.

The SEO strategy that I am using produces immediate results. My blog is not focused on internet radio, or much of the many other topics that theedgeam website has. And certainly, you could argue that other sites have been on high SERP for searches on theedgeam, and for a long time. For my blog entry to be pushed up to second place behind, only, the homepage of theedgeam itself, is huge evidence that we have been taught lies about SEO since the industry began.

You will also notice the role that WordPress tags play in my SEO strategy. My program includes a hack of the Simple Tagging Plugin for WordPress. I combine my keyword and description rules with the tag rules and produce a list of suggested tags that are 100% dense for that blog entry. If your blog has any content theme at all, then you will accumulate many blog entries related to the same tags. Tags are becoming more important in SERP because of websites like Technorati. Also, I told you before that when you create a new blog entry using an existing tag, that you cause the search engine robot to reindex your pages for that tag.

Lastly, for this installment on the Truth about SEO, I must mention self hosted WordPress blogs. I am disapointed that my free WordPress blog at wordpress.com has neither a Meta Keyword, nor a Meta Description element. Perhaps if I chose a different theme, I might get these elements. But I have also seen on other free WordPress blogs that we are not getting these elements in the HTML Header that are crucial to SEO for our blogs. I recommend that people opt for a self-hosted WordPress blog.

My hope, in writing these blog entries on SEO, Meta Keyword Density, Meta Description Density, Page Relevancy, and page relevancy to site density, will cause enough of a stir in the SEO industry that people will choose to write programs like mine, and show proven results that will increase the likelihood that people of like mind will connect and create great internet communities, social networks, blog matrices, and web rings. Afterall, connecting people is what the Internet is for.
