Dare I tell you that this venture all started for me last week when I was rereading some Jane Lead and she mentioned that the Holy Spirit births a NEW SPIRIT for you!??!?!?!
Well, I ruminated and communed with the Lord over this issue and some other points raised by Jane in her writings until I happened upon this THREE PART blog entry that not only confirms that God gives a TOTALLY NEW SPIRIT-MAN but also very neatly explains what I have been harping upon for two years about the THREE PERSONS who live in YOUR BODY.

Regarding the question which was generally asked, as to why did Jesus have to DIE to save all mankind, I commented twice:

Another facet of what Jesus did, in His Death on the cross was killing the carnal-man on the cross. This understanding ties in with our need to present our own bodies as a living sacrifice _and_ taking up our own crosses daily - i.e. crucifying our own carnal-mind and its lies that it whispers in our minds. Arrghh.. now I went and did it, I messed up.
you see, I was testing a wordpress plugin that I was working on, and made a stand alone self hosted wordpress blog in a folder called apostasy… well.. originally I was going to make an apostasy blog to warn people about apostasy… but then I scrapped the idea, but I DID use the blog to test the plugin…
well I messed up, because technorati grabbed some of the links and the problem is, not that the links do not exist anymore, but that someone might get the impression that the articles associated with those dead links might represent christian apostasy, and they do NOT…
I messed up.. I apologize to anyone whose blog entry might show up in technorati with a dead link that has the word apostasy in it. (…)

Truly amazing! I found an excellent blog entry by a person who posted EXACTLY what God is speaking to the world, right NOW, and yet the blog is not principally about such things! I find that fact amazing. I was going to post excerpts, but no, you need the whole thing, and it needs to be on the net for people to find, in more than one place. Christian Bloggers need community Widgets like Criteo
At the Elijah The Prophet Blog I have added Blog community widgets to the sidebar of my WordPress 2.1.3 theme called AtempleoFire. Yesterday, I wrote part 6 of my ongoing series on SEO and High Keyword Density and mentioned the need for Christian bloggers to utilize the community building benefits of blog widgets.
Last night I emailed the folks at Criteo bemoaning the fact that I was not getting any links to Christian blogs on my Autoroll widget. I have waited several days to give their widget time to analyze the content and usage of my blog. I received a courteous and professional reply:
