I did a search on blogdino.com to see what they had on the word COSMOGENY. I really intended to post some excerpts of my writing from February 2006 on the True Cosmogeny but I was curious if it was already listed in blogdino.com. The posting that I chose to link from above is a message I posted when I became weary and needed to take some time off. I have not done that yet, and now I am up against it, big time. Instead of posting an excerpt to this fine blog entry, I would rather post my two comments that I made. There are many comments and I hope you will read them along with his original article. Spilled Blood & The Cosmic Christ: Atonement Dissonance.
Regarding the question which was generally asked, as to why did Jesus have to DIE to save all mankind, I commented twice:

Another facet of what Jesus did, in His Death on the cross was killing the carnal-man on the cross. This understanding ties in with our need to present our own bodies as a living sacrifice _and_ taking up our own crosses daily - i.e. crucifying our own carnal-mind and its lies that it whispers in our minds. to see one person spend 30 minutes on my blog and clicking on links to the kingdom of God blog from a search on “getting around the carnal mind” makes all that I have been through more than worth it.
I am thankful to the Lord.

I had an icky day wednesday because I cannot fix a problem with my htacess on the free blog site and a Christian fussed at me and accused me of aggregating his blog for ‘a couple of weeks’ when I only just added it to a test blog there on september 2nd! sheesh. so I deleted it. (…)

A strange turn of events for me this afternoon. I was about to settle into working on my programming project when the Lord whispered to me that there was one more message out there for me to find and post to the blog. So I went to my bookmarks, and the believer’s forum category, and when I saw Wonderful One Discussion Forum, I remembered that I had glanced at that title last night and new that, that was the place to look. I had previously posted a glowing recommendation for this forum on my blog because they had an excellent Bible study on the book of Daniel chapter 9 and verse 27. One of the few places on the internet to find the truth about the ’covenant with many’. (…)

Lo, this is our God - this is the LORD - rejoice in his salvation
There is a very real DANGER of receiving the WRONG GOD !!!
In the book of Isaiah, Chapter 25 and Verse 9:
Quote from: The Bible
Isa 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Please notice the prophet is warning, implicitly, that some people received a false god, but these people, WAITED and then they said, THIS, THIS is the right one - we are all in trouble and he will save us, SEE? THIS is the LORD, and we decided to wait for Him, and now we will be glad and enjoy His salvation.
Can you plainly see that rendering from the verses? (…)
