Dan 7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
This is where we are now, being prevailed against. We can clearly see what is coming from the Beast - One World Government, world wide war, massive control ala national I.D. which is only months away. etc. etc. Without God, there is NOTHING we can do to stop the beast's plan. (only God will not bow to the King of Babylon. Please remember in the word that God told Israel to obey the king of babylon; their punishment. Did we study that in Jeremiah last month?).
Dan 7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
Until... WHO is the Ancient of days? Is He not God Almighty?
Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Dan 7:26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
So then these verses are repeating what the other verses said. You see the saints being worn out, and that is where we are now. And then you see there is a three and one half year period, and the word BUT
BUT, go back to the other verse and see that this BUT is saying that, AT THE SAME TIME, while saints are being worn out for 3 1/2 years, some saints will also be sitting in judgment, and taking away dominion from the beast system and destroying the beast system.
Who is sitting and handing judgment to the saints?
The Ancient of Days. God Almighty. God Almighty is a Spirit, so in order for Him to SIT, therefore, He would have to take on a form. That form is Elijah.
So we see from this study that Elijah comes, sits in judgment and begins the Kingdom with the saints, for a period of 3 1/2 years.
It is looking to me, more and more like the judgment seat is a catalyst for the resurrection of the dead AND the glorification of the saints, as well as a MERCY act for the unbelievers.
So, it now appears as though, since we know that our glorification can not happen BEFORE the dead in Christ are raised, that therefore, the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the coming of God the Father as Elijah are the very next events, that we await. Also, if you have read other material on this site, you will remember that the man who is Elijah was also a man who was born, already, on earth, _AND_ has since DIED. This was ferreted out of the scriptures on the daughter of Zion. Do a search on daughter of zion to review that material. She is waiting for him, and the Lord says in the scripture, what's the matter daughter of Zion, is your king absent? She is also called a widow and told not to be ashamed, because He will return to her. So, therefore, Elijah is raised from the dead. He can NOT come unless he is raised from the dead! So, therefore the resurrection of the dead is next, then Elijah, then the day of the Lord, sitting in judgment.
Obviously the church has not taught us the truth. This is certainly a SUDDENLY scenario.
If all this be true, then God will send us confirmations.
